1. The service

Sked Chat is a free, non-commercial chat for radio amateurs to arrange contacts (skeds), share DX spots and follow propagation. It is operated by [FULL NAME], SQ3SWG, adam@sq3swg.com. By registering you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

2. Accounts

• Register only with your own amateur radio callsign. One account per callsign.
• You must be at least 16 years old.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• We may ask you to confirm that you hold the callsign, and suspend accounts using someone else's callsign.

3. Acceptable use

Keep to the ham spirit. In particular, do not:

• harass, insult or threaten other users, or post hateful, obscene or illegal content;
• impersonate other stations or post false spots;
• spam, advertise or use the service commercially;
• flood the chat, automate accounts or try to get around rate limits;
• attack, overload or probe the service, or access other users' accounts or data.

Arranging a contact here does not change your obligations under your licence: you remain responsible for operating within your licence conditions and band plans.

4. Moderation

We may delete content and mute, suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, without prior notice in serious cases. If you think a decision was wrong, contact adam@sq3swg.com.

5. Your content

You keep the rights to what you post. You allow us to store and display it to other users as needed to run the service. Messages and skeds are deleted automatically after the periods stated in the privacy policy.

6. Data from third parties

Propagation data (hamqsl.com by N0NBH, ionosonde data via prop.kc2g.com from GIRO), DX cluster spots and map data (© OpenStreetMap contributors) come from third parties. Sporadic-E MUF values are estimates. All of this is provided for information only, without any guarantee of accuracy.

7. Availability and liability

The service is provided free of charge, “as is” and without guaranteed availability. We may change or end the service at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from its use, except for intent or gross negligence.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms; significant changes will be announced in the chat. Continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by Polish law; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
